Moved my whole life to a password manager after one phishing scare
Last month I almost clicked a fake bank link that looked just like the real thing. My heart dropped when I realized I had typed my password into that phishing page. I spent the next 48 hours freezing my credit and changing every account I could think of, which was about 40 different logins. That's when I finally tried a password manager instead of using my usual sticky note system. It took me one afternoon to import all my accounts and generate new random passwords for each one. The creepy part was seeing how many sites I had used the same password on for like 5 years. Now I never type a password manually, the manager autofills only on the real site. Has anyone else switched after a close call like this, and did you find it hard to trust the manager at first?
