Checked my data broker opt-out list and it was over 200 sites
I spent a weekend trying to remove my info from those people search sites. Tbh, I started a spreadsheet to keep track and the count hit 207 places that had my old address and phone number. It felt like a full time job just to get my basic info hidden. How do you even keep up with this stuff without going crazy?

Over 200 sites" is actually insane. That's a crazy amount of work just for some basic privacy. No wonder it felt like a full time job, how is that even legal?

Seems like a weird thing to get that upset about.

Just saw the number 207 and my jaw DROPPED. That's not a list, that's a whole second job. I tried this last year and gave up after like 30 sites because they kept asking for a photo of my driver's license. The idea that there are over TWO HUNDRED companies just selling my old address makes me feel a little sick. How is this even the normal way things work now?
