My phone auto-corrected 'ocean' to 'ogre', chaos at the ferry
Last month I was texting my buddy in Seattle about meeting at the Bainbridge Island ferry. I typed 'I'll be at the ogre terminal by 4:30' and he spent 20 minutes looking for a troll statue before calling me. We still laugh about it, but it got me thinking, what if we just disabled auto-correct for a week? Has anyone else had a text get mangled at the worst possible time, like sending a work message or a breakup text?
