Warning: I chose the 'quick' parking spot and it cost me 30 minutes

Had to pick between the spot right by the store entrance or one way out in the back today at the Safeway on 3rd. I went for the close one since I was only grabbing milk. Big mistake. Some guy in a giant truck boxed me in while he shopped for 25 minutes. I just sat there fuming. Has anyone else gotten burned by taking the easy spot?

Wait, didn't you kinda pick the spot though? I mean you chose the close spot because it was quick, and then got stuck when someone else parked badly... thats not really the spot's fault, thats more on the truck driver being a jerk. If you had parked way out in the back you still might have gotten boxed in by someone else, or wasted time walking. The real problem here is people who park too close and take forever, not the spot itself. Next time maybe try the end of the row where theres only one car on your driver side... gives you more room to escape.
