The lady at the grocery store checkout who counted my items out loud
I was at the self checkout at Kroger and the woman behind me started counting every single thing I put in my bag, saying 7, 8, 9 right out loud. She did this for all 32 items until I was done, and then she just nodded and walked away. Why would someone do this and not even say anything else?

She counted all 32 of them out loud? That's just bizarre. I'd be super creeped out if someone did that to me.

The 32 count specifically, @carr.brooke - was she counting each tooth individually or just the whole set she saw displayed?
