My dentist joke bombed at my daughter's open house last night
I told the teacher my daughter's toothbrush was a 'brace' face and nobody even smiled, just this awkward silence like I'd cursed. Anybody else have a joke that died so hard you wanted to crawl under the desk?

Oh man, I once told a "why did the chicken cross the road" joke to a room of parents and got total crickets.

Wait, you actually tried telling a "why did the chicken cross the road" joke to a room full of parents? @henry_martinez that takes some serious guts. I can only imagine the looks on their faces when you dropped that classic. Kids would have probably laughed their heads off but parents are a tough crowd for old school jokes like that. They probably thought you were about to launch into some deep parenting metaphor or something. Honestly though I bet most of them were just tired and zoning out by that point in the evening.
