Shoutout to the guy who yelled at me over a shared printer
Last month at the office on 5th and Main, this guy watched me type my password into the login screen and said, 'you really think that's safe?' then walked off, but he never once mentioned that I'd left a sticky note with the same password under the keyboard for 6 weeks, so has anyone else had someone criticize their habits while ignoring the bigger breach sitting right there?

Did you ever just look him dead in the eye and say 'better than the sticky note'? That's what I would've done, honestly. People love to point out the tiny thing they think they're smart about, but they rarely see the obvious stuff that's been sitting right in front of them for weeks. I've had coworkers do the exact same thing, lecture me on one small slip while their own habits were way worse. Next time, just turn it around and ask them what they've spotted that's actually a bigger risk, that usually shuts them up real quick. Or just don't react at all, because some folks only criticize to feel important, not to actually help.
