My roommate froze my cast iron pan because she thought the bacon grease 'went bad'

Came home last Tuesday to find my seasoned pan sitting in the freezer with a half-eaten stick of butter on top and now I have to strip it down and start over, has anyone else had a roommate mess with their cookware for no reason?

Did your roommate think the butter was on a hunger strike or something? Cause that's the only reason I can see for banishment to the ice box. My bad roommate phase was back in college. She tried to "help" by washing my cast iron with dish soap. Then she scrubbed it with steel wool. I came home to a pile of rust and a note saying she fixed the "gross pan." Had to reseason three times. Still salty about it.

Huh. She put a half-eaten stick of butter on top? That's honestly kind of bizarre. Like she froze it but also just left a gnawed-on stick of butter sitting there. Almost impressive how wrong she got it.
