Just found out Tom Sawyer was almost never a hit and it blew my mind
Honestly I was reading a thing about Rush on some music history site last week and found out Tom Sawyer only hit number 44 on the Billboard Hot 100 back in 1981. I always cranked that song in my dad's old Civic in high school, windows down, whole car shaking, and I just assumed it was huge everywhere. Turns out it was the album Moving Pictures that went crazy, not the single. What song do you blast that was never actually a big hit?

Sleeper hits end up meaning more than chart-toppers anyway.
