I finally stopped hating my commute after switching from podcasts to full albums
Drove the same 45 miles to work in Cleveland for 3 years. Always had podcasts or talk radio going. Last Tuesday I threw on an old CD from 2009, just cranked it start to finish. Whole drive felt different, like the music filled the car instead of just filling the silence. Now I pick one album per drive and hit max volume on the highway. Does anyone else find that full albums hit harder than playlists when you're behind the wheel, or is it just me?
How long is that drive exactly? I used to do a 40 minute haul and yeah, a whole album just hits different than shuffling songs. There's something about letting one band take you all the way in instead of jumping around.
