Hit 100k miles in my old hatchback and discovered a new favorite song to blast
Tbh I never paid attention to the odometer in my 2012 Civic, but last Tuesday I glanced down while sitting at a red light on I-35 and saw it roll over to exactly 100,000 miles. The timing was wild because I had just shuffled my playlist and 'Sabotage' by the Beastie Boys came on right as the light turned green. I cranked it to max, windows down, and suddenly the whole car felt like it had a second life. That milestone made me realize I've driven this thing through three kid drop-offs a day, two cross-state moves, and countless grocery runs, and it still lets me feel like a teenager for three minutes. Now I'm wondering if anyone else has a specific song they associate with a big car number, like hitting 50k or 200k, or if I'm just weirdly sentimental about a dashboard readout.
