Blew $180 on a subwoofer that made my trunk rattle louder than the actual song
I drive a 2011 Corolla and last month I paid a shop in Mesa $180 to install a 10 inch sub in the trunk. Now "No Hands" by Waka Flocka sounds like a washing machine full of bolts at volume 30 and my rear plate buzzes so bad people stare at red lights. I wanted that chest thump for my max volume pick, "Humble" by Kendrick, but I just got rattle. Anyone know a cheap fix, or did I just waste $180 on a trunk full of noise?

A forum guy said Dynamat on the plate and trunk lid kills most of that buzz.
