Warning: That 'premium' rigging app cost me $85 and a full morning

Everyone kept saying the 'LiftSmart Pro' app was a must-have for load charts and wind speed. I bought it for my last job at the Port of Tacoma site. Spent over three hours trying to get the offline maps to work right before I gave up and just used my old paper charts. Has anyone found a digital tool that actually works on site without a perfect signal?

Yeah I was all about those fancy apps for a while too. Wasted a whole morning on something similar last year. Honestly just went back to my old laminated cheat sheet, it never needs an update.

What did you try for the offline setup? I had the same fight with a different app last year. I ended up using Crane Calculator, the free version, and just downloaded the whole state map on wifi at home before heading out. It's not fancy but it actually loads when you need it.
