Took a 90 ton Grove out to a site last Tuesday and the wind was dead steady all day

That job at the port was supposed to be a nightmare with gusts, but it was flat calm from start to finish. Made the whole lift boring in the best way possible - has anyone else had a day where everything just lined up perfect?

Bet it felt like waiting for the other shoe to drop all day.

Whoa, "waiting for the other shoe to drop" is exactly the right way to put it. I've been there before and it's the worst feeling ever. You're just on edge the whole time, like any second something is going to blow up in your face. It's exhausting because you can't even enjoy the calm moments, you're just waiting for the chaos to start up again. That must have been such a relief when the day actually ended without any drama.

Used to brace for chaos every time, but that day proved me wrong.
