TIL a patch test on my own scalp went sideways, 48 hours later and I'm still scratching
So I grabbed a new color line from the supply house in Reno last Tuesday, and instead of testing it on my arm like usual, I mixed a pea sized batch and dabbed it behind my ear. Figured it was smarter since that's close to where the color actually sits. Next morning the spot was red and itchy, and by day two it had spread to my hairline. I've been doing this 9 years and never reacted to anything, so either this formula changed or my body did. Anyone else had a patch test surprise them on a product they'd used before?
