Am I the only one who stopped calling leftovers "leftovers" and started calling them "round two"
Stood in front of my fridge in Nashville on a random Wednesday with half a rotisserie chicken, three sad carrots, and a cup of rice from two days ago. My kid looked at all of it and said "we're having that again?" so I flipped the script and said we're having round two instead. Cooked the carrots down in butter till they went sweet, shredded the chicken into the rice, and topped it with a fried egg and hot sauce. My kid ate two bowls and asked when we could do round two again. Does anyone else have a name that gets your family to eat the fridge stuff without the sigh?
