Used to think "low and slow" was just for barbecue, then I tried baking a frozen pizza at 250 instead of 425

Buddy of mine tried that once. Thought he was being clever. Put a cheap frozen pizza in at 250 and went to watch a movie. Came back three hours later. Pizza was this weird pale, soggy mess. Cheese never even browned right. Tasted like cardboard with wet sauce. He ended up throwing the whole thing in the trash.

Oh man that's rough. I feel for your buddy, I've definitely been there with stuff like that. Low and slow only works for like actual cooking, not reheating frozen stuff.
