My grandma watched me flip a pancake onto the floor and just said "that's why I use a lid"
I was making pancakes at her house in Reno last Saturday and tried to do that fancy flip thing with the pan, and the whole pancake landed on her clean floor. She didn't even get mad, she just grabbed her old cast iron skillet with a lid and said "this is why I always use a lid, dear." Does anyone else have a relative who fixes your kitchen mess with one simple trick you should have known already?
