Vent: Just read the actual data on how many people get hurt doing basic home repairs

Found a report from the Consumer Product Safety Commission. Over 200,000 ER visits last year were from ladder falls alone. Makes you think twice before just climbing up there to clean the gutters, right? Anyone else seen stats that made them stop and reconsider a normal chore?

I always thought power tool injuries were mostly pros being careless. Then I saw the ER numbers for table saws and miter saws in DIY hands. I rent a lot more tools now instead of buying cheap ones.
