Wait, the whole motor blew? That's not just a broken radio or something small, that's the entire heart of the car gone. I always figured those warranties were for the little annoying fixes, not a total engine replacement. That's a crazy amount of money all at once. I guess if anything was going to change your mind, it would be the biggest possible repair bill. Makes you wonder how often that actually happens to people.
