Warning: bought an $1,100 laser level for a 3 day tile job and it made my walls worse
Bought a Bosch GTL3 off a guy in Tacoma for $1,100 cash. Three day bathroom tile job, walls were out of plumb by 5/8 inch over 8 feet. The laser line looked perfect so I trusted it and built everything to that line. Grout lines came out crooked anyway because the laser was level but the wall was not. Boss made me tear out two rows and said "the bubble was honest, your new toy wasn't." Learned the tool does not fix the prep. Curious if anybody here still checks plumb with a 4 foot level even after the laser says you are good.
