Paid $1,200 for a used total station and it paid for itself on one job
Picked up a used Topcon from a guy retiring out in Mesa about 8 months ago. I was still doing layout with a tape and string on small additions, and I kept eating rework costs when walls came out of square. First job with it was a 40x60 shop slab and the footings lined up dead on, no callbacks. Now I am wondering if I should have gone new instead of used, has anyone had a laser go out of calibration on them mid-project?
