Powder vs. liquid release agent, I finally switched

For 12 years I used liquid release agent on every flatwork pour because that's what my first foreman taught me. Last month on a driveway job in Spokane, I borrowed a bag of powdered release from the guy next door and the finish came out so much cleaner, no puddling or streaks at all. Has anyone else made the switch and noticed a difference in their broom finish?

Admit I still keep a bottle of liquid in the truck for when the powder makes me feel like a rookie. Worst part is picking powder out of my beard for a week after.
