Rented a hot water unit for the first time, never going back to cold water jobs

Just got back from a 3 day pipeline job near Corpus Christi where we used a rented hot water setup instead of the usual cold water gear. The contractor insisted on it, and I gotta say, the visibility difference was night and day... murky water cleared up way faster and my hands didn't feel like ice cubes after the first 20 minutes. Still not sure if it's worth the rental cost for smaller jobs, but for anything over 2 days I think I'm gonna push for it. Anyone else made the switch or still dealing with cold water shivers?
