Told my buddy at the shop in Fresno that digital comics weren't for me, then I read Saga on my phone in 2 nights
I swore for a long time that reading comics on a screen would never feel right compared to floppies in my hands. Then a buddy handed me his tablet with the first trade of Saga loaded up, and two nights later I was hunting down the rest of the run online. Has anyone else made the switch to digital and actually stuck with it, or did you go back to paper?
My friend Ray did the same thing with his old iPad, swore he would only ever read paper. Then he tried the first volume of Y The Last Man on a flight to Denver and by the time he landed he had bought the whole set. He still keeps the paper ones on a shelf but reads new stuff on the tablet now, mostly for the zoom feature since his eyes aren't what they used to be. Paper still wins for him on art he wants to look at slow, but he stopped fighting the screen thing.
