I thought the $12 coffee subscription my cousin in Portland kept pushing was a scam, and now I'm mad I waited 8 months
She swore up and down that a rotating single origin box from a small roaster in Portland would beat anything I could grab at the grocery store, and I told her nobody needs a subscription to drink coffee. After my third bag arrived I brewed it side by side with my usual stuff and the difference in smell alone made me feel dumb for arguing. Did anyone else hold out way too long on something a friend kept telling them about?
