Why do people assume coding is magic? Had a coworker ask me to 'hack' the coffee machine.

He thought writing code could bypass the timer. I had to break it to him that it's just programming, not wizardry.

Yeah, the printer thing is too real. I once spent an hour trying to write a script to auto-reply to boring emails, and it just sent "potato" to my boss. So much for coding magic.
