Serious question, did anyone else learn that Python was named after Monty Python and not the snake?
I was two lessons into a free Python course on YouTube when the guy casually mentioned the name comes from Monty Python, the comedy group. I had been picturing a snake this whole time and even drew one in my notes. It sounds silly but knowing the real reason made the language feel a lot less scary to me. Did any of you learn a random fact like that early on that changed how you saw a language?
