Just realized tutorials vs docs teach totally different things, which one actually stuck for you?
I spent last month trying to build a simple weather app and hit this weird wall. Every tutorial I followed made perfect sense, I could copy along and get stuff working. But the second I tried to do something on my own, like add a 5 day forecast, I froze. So I switched to just reading the official docs for the API and library, and honestly it felt like staring at a foreign language for 2 days. Then something clicked on day 3 when I tried to solve one tiny error message by myself. I tracked it to a missing parameter the tutorial never even mentioned. Now I'm torn because tutorials gave me confidence fast, but docs gave me the actual puzzle pieces. Is it normal to need both, or do most people just pick one and suffer through the learning curve? What's worked for you when you're starting fresh with something unfamiliar?
