Dropped $180 on a 'learn to code in 30 days' bootcamp and the instructor couldn't explain what a variable was
So back in January I paid $180 for this online bootcamp that promised I'd be building apps in a month. The first live session, the instructor spent 45 minutes talking about mindset and then when someone asked what a variable actually is, he said "don't worry about that yet, just trust the process." By week two half the class had quit and the Discord went dead. I ended up learning more from a free YouTube channel in three days than I did in three weeks of that thing. Did anyone else get burned by one of these paid intro courses, or is it just me?
