Took the backing plate off my 2011 Haas mill last Tuesday and found 4 years of chips packed behind it
I put off pulling that plate for 4 years because I figured the washdown was hitting everything, but the coolant nozzles were aimed 2 inches too high and never touched the worst of it, so I moved them and now the same tray that needed scooping twice a shift stays clean for a full 10 hours, has anyone else found their nozzles were pointing at the wrong spot the whole time?
