Swapped my old calipers for a digital set, biggest win this month
I used to eyeball offsets with dial calipers and hope for the best, then a job in Toledo last week scraped 3 parts before the foreman said 'you need better tools'. Got a digital set for 60 bucks, now I set my zero in seconds and my scrap rate is basically zero for the last 40 parts. Anyone else notice how much time that saves on setup math?
