Installed a $22 faucet aerator in my Chicago apartment and my gas bill went UP, what did I miss?
I figured less hot water use meant less gas for the boiler, but my next bill was $14 higher and I can't tell if it's the aerator or just a colder month. Did anyone else see a jump after a low flow swap, and did you find out it was the boiler working harder or something else?
