Hit 200 pounds of compost collected from my building's kitchen scraps

I started a small compost bin in the shared back courtyard of our 12-unit apartment building back in March. Just my own banana peels and coffee grounds at first, then two neighbors joined in. Last week I weighed the finished batches and realized we've diverted 200 pounds total from the landfill in 7 months. That number felt small until I read that the average household tosses about 4 pounds of food waste daily. Has anyone else hit a milestone like this that made them rethink scale, or did you find a more efficient way to track your impact?

How are you weighing the finished compost versus the raw scraps you put in? A lot of volume disappears as it breaks down, so I'm wondering if you're tracking both numbers. Would help to know if it's really 200 pounds of waste saved or just the final product.
