Vent: Chasing a creosote log leak for 3 hours only to find it was a 20-minute fix
Spent a whole afternoon on a job in Spokane where smoke was seeping through a brick seam, kept thinking it was a cracked flue liner. Turned out the mortar joint just needed a quick bead of high-temp caulk. Anyone else ever overthink a simple issue like that?
