Free museum days are a scam unless you check the fine print, right?
I dragged my sister to the 'free' art museum downtown last Saturday, but the special exhibit was $18 each, so we just did the permanent halls and it felt like a waste. Then I found out they do free extended hours on Thursday nights. Am I the only one who never checks those details, or is the 'free' thing just bait?

Totally feel you on the fine print. Last year I drove an hour to a "free" science museum and it turned out the main planetarium show was extra. Kids cried. We ate overpriced cafeteria pizza instead. Now I always check the website before I even pack the car.
