Blew $35 on a board game that fell apart in one night
Picked up this card game at a dollar store discount bin cause the box looked cool, but the cards were paper thin and torn by round three with friends. I could've gotten two pizzas and a movie rental for that. What's your worst cheap purchase that ended up costing more in disappointment?

Did you see that article about how some dollar store games are just repackaged stuff from overseas that fails quality checks? I had a similar thing with a $20 puzzle where half the pieces had the print peeling off before I even finished the border. It's wild how they make the box look so good just to trap you, you know? The worst part is you can't even return it cause it's technically "used" after one night.
