Got told my seam placement was lazy, changed my whole approach
Last month a homeowner in Portland pointed out I put a seam right where the afternoon sun hits her living room. She wasn't rude about it but she was right, I was just taking the easy path. Have you ever had a customer's feedback actually make you change your method for the better?

Opposite take here. That homeowner probably just wanted control over something that didn't matter that much. Seams are going to be visible eventually no matter where you put them, the sun fades everything the same. Call me lazy but sometimes a straight line is better than bending over backwards for a client who read one blog post about seam placement. The real lazy move is pretending every bit of feedback is worth your time when half the time they forget what they complained about after you leave. You changed your whole approach for one comment? That sounds like you got sold on an opinion that might not even hold up in another house with different windows.

Nah... seams always show eventually anyway.
