Switched from hand-driving nails to a nail gun for trim work, wish I did it years ago
I was always the guy who said a nail gun was overkill for baseboards and crown molding. Figured if I could swing a hammer right, why spend the money? Last month I had a 2,000 square foot house to trim out in about a week. After three days my elbow was killing me and I was falling behind. My buddy let me borrow his 18-gauge brad nailer. Finished the whole job two days early. Plus no more dented trim from a stray hammer swing. Now I'm shopping for my own. Has anyone else had a hard time switching over from old-school methods?

oh man totally, my buddy mark went through the same thing. he swore up and down he'd never switch over, but then his girlfriend got him a trial for christmas and he was hooked after like three days. now he's the guy telling everyone else they're missing out, even his own mom. i watched him try to use the old way at his place last weekend and he just sat there staring at the screen for a solid minute before giving up. it's wild how fast you forget the old normal when you find something better.
