Vent: dropped $295 on a resume writer and got back something I could've written myself
Paid a resume service $295 back in April because I was stuck in the same job for 3 years with no callbacks. What came back was basically my old resume with a fancy font and "results driven" jammed into every bullet. The one thing they did right was fix my job titles so they matched what I actually did. I ended up rewriting half of it myself in one evening and got 2 interviews within a month. Has anyone actually had a resume service worth the money, or is it all just keyword stuffing with a nicer template?

Boy, fixing job titles is worth more than most people know.
