Finally tracked down a copy of the banned "Sesame Street" episode 847, took me 7 months and 3 dead torrents
Kept hitting fakes claiming it was the 'Worms in Space' edit when it was just the normal cut, but a guy on a lost media forum in Ohio sent me his VHS rip last night and it's the real thing. Has anyone else had luck with the fan archives, or is eBay still the only way to get the pulls?

The "Worms in Space" fake problem is so real, I went through like four downloads that were just the normal cut with a different label slapped on. What finally worked for me was skipping the big public trackers and going straight to a private lost media Discord where people trade raw VHS rips instead of re-encodes. The trick is to ask for a timestamped screenshot of a scene that only exists in the pull, that weeds out the fakers in about two minutes. I also made a deal with a guy who had a capture card, he digitized his tape and I sent him a few tapes from my own stash in return. eBay sellers are mostly just burning the same bad rips onto DVD-Rs and calling them rare, so I stopped bothering with that route. Trade with collectors who actually own the physical tape, that is the only thing that has worked for me.
