Rant: my old band got scrubbed from Spotify after a 2012 tweet resurfaced

Our indie group had 40k monthly listeners until some kid found a dumb joke our drummer made about a celebrity 12 years ago and made a 2 minute TikTok about it. The label dropped us within 48 hours, and now the whole catalog is gone even though the drummer left the band in 2016. Has anyone else watched years of work vanish over something nobody even cared about at the time?
