Shoutout to the knot in my stomach over a loaned sleeping bag

I lent my extra sleeping bag to a coworker for a weekend in the woods. It had a broken zipper I'd just taped up as a quick fix. She returned it all fine, but I never mentioned the repair. Now I feel weird about not warning her, even though nothing went wrong.

We’re always hardest on ourselves about the small things we didn't say. The mind loves to replay a finished scene with new lines.

That worry is actually a useful lesson, not just mind noise like @adamwalker said. It shows you care about being clear with people, which is a good thing. Remembering that feeling will help you speak up next time.

Don't call worry USEFUL; it's often just noise in your head. That NOISE keeps you from taking real steps forward.
