My mentor in Tucson showed me one screw on a Rolleiflex and now I check all of them twice
Last month I brought a Rolleiflex 3.5E to my old mentor Frank's shop in Tucson because the film advance kept jamming, and after he fixed it in 20 minutes he asked why I hadn't checked the film spool tension screw first. He said most folks jump straight to the gears and miss the easy stuff, and honestly it stung because I've been doing this 6 years. Do you all have a first thing you always check on a jammed camera, or do you just dig in?
