Back pain seems common after hours at the bench

I've seen several posts mention sore backs from repair work. Stretching my shoulders every few hours has reduced my discomfort. How do you manage this?

Ten minutes of cat-cow stretches before work fixed my back!

Your cat-cow stretch routine made me think of my buddy Mark. He used to scoff at short exercises until his back locked up at work one day. Now he does five minutes of stretches every morning and swears by it, lol.

Ever notice how the best fixes for this stuff are tiny habits we ignore until something hurts? My back used to kill me until I made a rule to get up and walk to the kitchen for water every hour. It wasn't even about the water, it was about breaking the hunch. Same with leaving my phone in another room so I have to stand up to check it. The small, forced interruptions add up way more than one big stretch session for me.
