The week I ran 14 installs in Kenosha and only one went bad, here is what saved me
Last week I got handed 14 jobs in Kenosha because two guys were out sick, and I figured I was going to be buried by Wednesday. I loaded the truck Sunday night with 500 ft of RG11, 40 compression fittings, and two spare splitters, which I never do. Monday through Thursday I ran 12 of them clean, no callbacks, and the only bad one was a basement drop where the homeowner had stapled the old line to the joist every six inches. I ended up using the existing staple path and just pulled new cable alongside it, took me 20 extra minutes instead of drilling a whole new run. The one that went sideways was a two story with a locked gate and nobody home, so I had to come back Friday and eat the trip. By Friday night I had 13 done and one reschedule, and I still made it to my kid's game at 6. Do you guys prep the truck the night before or just wing it in the morning?
