Got into it with a builder in Tacoma over scribing fillers vs caulk, and now I'm second guessing myself
He wanted me to just run a fat bead of paintable caulk on a 3/8 inch gap against a crooked wall, and I said no and cut a scribed filler instead, which cost me two extra hours. Am I being too fussy, or is caulking a gap that size just hiding sloppy work?
