Can we talk about how nobody counts the real cost of a 1099 helper until tax time?
Hired a guy in Tampa at $22 an hour for 6 weeks of weekend work and the self employment tax hit me for $1,100 I never planned for. Anyone else run the math on help before hiring, or do you just eat it in April like I did?
