My best friend's wedding invite arrived 3 weeks late and that was the point

I drove 6 hours to see her in Portland last month, she never mentioned the date moved up. The invite showed up after the ceremony, and she texted me a photo of the cake like nothing happened. Has anyone else had a friendship end because someone quietly stopped wanting you there, not because of a big fight?
