I finally cut off my childhood friend after she threw a $120 bridal shower fit
She invited herself to my sister's bridal shower last month and got mad that there wasn't a mimosa bar. Then she posted a passive aggressive insta story about 'cheap friends' and tagged me. That was the end of 15 years of friendship over something that cost me less than her eyelash extensions. Has anyone else ended a long friendship over money drama that wasn't even about the money?

My buddy dropped a 10 year friend over a group trip where this girl kept upgrading everything and then demanded everyone split her extra costs. It wasn't the $80 that broke them, it was the way she treated the whole group like her personal wallet. Last I heard, that friend still posts about loyalty but never pays her share.
